Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is growing into a fan favorite in Wisconsin in just his second year and he is now being endeared to fans outside of his state because of his advocacies.
The 24-year-old wore a special Cheyenne River Youth Project cleats over the weekend as part of the ‘My Cause, My Cleats‘ campaign initiated by the League.
The project’s website reads:
The Cheyenne River Youth Project is dedicated to giving our Lakota youth and families access to the culturally relevant, enriching, and enduring opportunities we need to build stronger, healthier communities and a more vibrant future together.
Cheyenne River Youth Project CEO Julie hailed the help that Kraft is providing for Cheyenne.
“You get an email, you wonder if it’s spam, and then, you get an email from the NFL saying, ‘We’d like to make this commercial with you.’ It’s a little bit where did this come from? It’s completely in left field,” Garreau said.
