NFL Playoff Script Leak? Fans Spot Suspicious Clues for 2025 Season

These past two years, the conspiracy of the NFL being scripted took over social media. The NFL even poked fun at the script rumors in a commercial to kickoff the 2023 season – the 104th season of the league. While most fans know the game is not staged, it doesn’t stop others from partaking in the conspiracy or from social media getting a conversation brewing.

The most recent conspiracy incident went trending today on TikTok. The social media user @flockeagles – come on guys, it’s a dead giveaway – uploaded the “leaked” playoff script for the upcoming playoffs. While the graphic has the correct symbols and Super Bowl logo, the script had the Eagles winning it all.

Again, look at the username.

At least the color theory is over. If you missed out on that trend, fans believed the color of the Super Bowl logo was the indicator of who was going to play in the big game. First it was Rams-Bengals in Super Bowl LVI (orange and yellow) then it was Eagles-Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII (green and red).

Thankfully the streak ended there. Super Bowl LVII had a red and purple color scheme, leading many to believe Lamar Jackson would lead the Ravens to the Super Bowl vs. the San Francisco 49ers – It ended up being Chiefs vs. Niners with the Chiefs winning back-to-back championships.

This year’s SB logo avoided using colors that could be tied to specific teams, so hopefully that conspiracy is no more. The real problem is sites that offer “insider” information on sports betting. According to Forbes, these websites have risen in popularity due sports betting becoming legalized and integrated into the league’s partnership.

When fans get ahold of this illegitimate information, that’s when outrageous “leaked” or “script” videos take over social media.

In case you were wondering, after their dominant Week 18 win the Detroit Lions have become to runaway favorites to win it all at +400.
