The Pittsburgh Steelers’ first playoff game is nearly here, and fans are excited to see what they can do against the Baltimore Ravens.
They did split the season series with the Ravens, so this matchup will break a tie in their head-to-head total for the year.
Both teams are dealing with injuries, and the Ravens recently learned that Zay Flowers, Lamar Jackson’s top receiving target, will be out for this game.
Flowers’ absence is notable and could give the Steelers a better chance to compete in this game.
Their injuries could also leave them in a bind, however.
Aaron Becker recently highlighted on X that the Steelers will be without Roman Wilson, Cole Holcomb, and Logan Lee in this matchup, with Mason McCormick and Calvin Anderson listed as questionable.

The good news for the Steelers is that they’ve been dealing with injuries to these positions all year, so they’re used to employing the ‘next man up’ approach.
Wilson, for instance, has only appeared in one game this year, so his being ruled out was more of a formality than anything else.
The Steelers might not have enough firepower on paper to take the Ravens down, but Mike Tomlin-led teams tend to perform well in the playoffs, so we’ll soon see if they can keep that tradition going.
If any coach can lead a team decimated by injuries, it’s Tomlin, as he has years of experience in this league, and fans are hoping they’ll get to watch him put on a masterclass.
