Throughout his tenure with the green and gold, he has established a significant legacy. Crosby holds the franchise records for career points (1,918), field goals (395), 50-yard field goals (43), and extra points (733). In 2023, after joining the New York Giants, he played in only three games.

Many found it unusual to see him in a uniform other than the Packers’, and even Crosby himself felt odd about it. It was strange not having him seal a game-winning drive. Known for his clutch performances, he was particularly reliable during quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ fourth-quarter drives. Crosby is one of only two NFL players (alongside Lions kicker Jason Hanson) to have participated in over 250 regular-season games and amassed more than 1,900 points with a single team.

Unlike most kickers who frequently change teams, Crosby remained with one franchise throughout his career, providing fans with unforgettable game-winning kicks. Moreover, he is a Super Bowl champion, a milestone many kickers dream of achieving. His numerous franchise records and unwavering consistency are his greatest attributes.

Since his departure, the Packers have struggled to replace him as their go-to kicker. Matching the performance of this 16-year veteran is no easy feat. However, with patience and guidance, their new or current kicker might eventually fill those shoes. Regardless, Crosby leaves behind an almost untouchable legacy in Green Bay.
