CeeDee Lamb Shares Latest Health Update on Monday Night

When the NFL schedule came out months ago, this Week 14 “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals looked to be an attractive one between two star-studded teams that, at the very least, would be on the way toward the playoffs.

But both teams have been reduced to playing out the string and maintaining a shred of dignity.

The Cowboys are 5-7 and have been a disaster, while the Bengals are a depressing 4-8.

Dallas did get some good news heading into the game, as wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who didn’t take part in a recent practice because of a sprained AC joint in his shoulder, said he will play against Cincinnati, according to Josh Tolentino of LoneStarLive.com.

Lamb’s numbers are down from last season when he led the league with 135 receptions and was second with 1,749 receiving yards, as he has 880 yards and four touchdowns on 79 catches in 12 games.

One of the many problems the Cowboys have is a lack of a legitimate No. 2 wideout after Lamb, and it has made it easier for opposing teams to load up on him defensively.

Jalen Tolbert is second on the Cowboys with 451 receiving yards.

Dallas has some other key players who are banged up, including cornerback Trevon Diggs, who has a groin ailment and missed their past two games.

Quarterback Dak Prescott is out after suffering a hamstring injury that ended his season, but tight end Jake Ferguson has cleared concussion protocol after missing the past three contests.
