NFL Fans Are In Stitches After Someone Released A Mind-Blowing Stat About Tyreek Hill This Season

NFL fans are losing their minds over a shocking-but-true stat about Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

As Dolphins fans and fantasy football players know, 2024 has been a giant letdown of a season for Tyreek Hill. Last year, he led the league in both receiving yards (1,799) and receiving scores (13) while also tying his personal-best 119 receptions.

But in 12 games thus far, Hill has just 55 receptions for 654 yards and four touchdowns. He’s averaging 54.5 receiving yards per game, Hill’s lowest since his 2016 rookie year (37.1 yards per game).

Perhaps you’ve heard the news that Tyreek Hill has fathered five children alone this year. And as several folks on X/Twitter noted, Hill has had more kids this year than touchdown receptions:

As you’d imagine, social media had all sorts of priceless responses after this jaw-dropping statistic emerged:

“Let him cook,” wrote a fan.

“Games Joel Embiid has played in: 4,” another pointed out.

“FOTY,” a user said.

“Man, our future is going to be fast,” a fan said.

“He’s trying his best lol,” wrote a fan.

“No way,” said another.

“Should be named Time’s Person of the Year!!,” joked a fan.

“On one hand, I wanna laugh at the fantasy side of this On the other hand, what a blessing for him,” said a fan.

The Dolphins offense, predictably, struggled big time when Tua Tagovailoa missed four games due to a concussion. But even since the QB’s return, Hill hasn’t exactly been the game-wrecking force we’re used to watching.

At 5-7, the Dolphins face incredibly long odds of reaching the postseason. They’ll certainly need to win out and hope one of the three wild card teams (the Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Chargers or Denver Broncos) have a significant late-season collapse.

Tyreek Hill & Dolphins Have A Lot To Improve In 2024

It’s unfair to put too much of the blame on Miami’s skill position guys, but it’s obvious that GM Chris Grier (assuming he’s retained) has plenty of roster flaws that must be addressed in the offseason.

The offensive line could use several upgrades, especially the interior. The defense needs pass-rushing help with Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb unable to stay healthy, and it wouldn’t hurt to get a competent backup QB for Tagovailoa.
