The Pittsburgh Steelers set a piece of lowly franchise history in their loss to the Baltimore Ravens. For the first time since 2003, their last losing season, the Steelers have lost back-to-back games by 14 or more points.
The Steelers have lost their last two games by 14+ points, something that hasn’t happened since 2003. The year before Big Ben was drafted.

That was first noticed by Alex Kozora of Steelers Depot. Pittsburgh kept it close with Baltimore until a pick-six by Marlon Humphrey created all the separation the Ravens needed to run away with the game. At the end of the game, the score reflected the Steelers being thoroughly outplayed, just as it did in Philadelphia.

Yet, the Steelers must get better when facing the Kansas City Chiefs. They may get some reinforcements, as Mike Tomlin said players such as George Pickens, DeShon Elliott, and Donte Jackson could all be back and ready to play.
However, Pittsburgh needs to be much better on both sides of the football. In both games without Pickens, in this three-game stretch of 11 days, the Steelers have been held below 20 points. On top of that, the offense has turned the ball over too much in recent games, putting a team that needed to play ball control and smart offense behind the eight ball even more.
