VIDEO: Concerning New Footage Shows Patrick Mahomes Getting Taken Away On The Cart In Locker Room Area After Suffering Nasty-Looking Leg Injury

The Kansas City Chiefs could be without superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes after he suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s 21-7 road win over the Cleveland Browns.

Patrick Mahomes was injured after taking a hit from Cleveland defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson during the fourth quarter. Backup Carson Wentz came in and helped the Chiefs hold on for a fourth straight victory.

As he attempted a pass on fourth down with the Chiefs up double digits, the quarterback was wrapped up from behind by Browns’ Dalvin Tomlinson and hit by Mike Hall Jr. in the front, which caused him to twist awkwardly as he hit the field.

Mahomes stayed down on the ground for some time before he ultimately limped to the sidelines. Carson Wentz replaced him after suffering the injury in the fourth quarter of the Chiefs’ 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns.

After the game, things only looked worse as cameras caught Patrick Mahomes being carted from the locker room so he wouldn’t have any weight on his injured ankle.

Wentz came into the game and completed both of his attempts against the Browns for a total of 20 yards.

Patrick Mahomes Not Expected To Miss Any Games

All eyes in Kansas City are going to be on Patrick Mahomes’ left ankle after the Chiefs quarterback was forced out of Sunday’s 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury following a brutal hit from the front and the back.

Not only was Mahomes slow to get up, but he could barely walk as he headed off the field.

The Chiefs announced that Mahomes suffered an ankle injury and would be questionable to return, but he never returned to the game.

“It’s not broken, it’s sore,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said following the game.

He is not expected to miss any time as the Chiefs will play against the Texans on Saturday.
