Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Reveal Their Post-Christmas Plans

With the Kansas City Chiefs wrapping up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and home-field advantage plus a first-round bye in the playoffs following their 29-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, one would believe the team’s star players have earned some well-deserved time off as they head into their “mini-bye.”

Having played three games in a 10-day span, and with an 11-day break until their Week 18 matchup against the Denver Broncos, it seems Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has graciously decided to let his players take some extra time with their families to enjoy the holidays before finishing up the regular season against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on Dec. 5.

According to Chiefs insider Pete Sweeney, star tight end Travis Kelce will be spending his free time with girlfriend Taylor Swift, while quarterback Patrick Mahomes could potentially be on baby duty with his wife Brittany “due any day now” with their third child.

“Andy, I believe, got done with the [Steelers] game and gave the guys some time to go do what they want to do,” Sweeney said on a recent episode of the “New Day with SSJ” podcast. “A tight end might be going to New York with his girlfriend, a quarterback might be hanging out with his kids.

“Who knows what everybody else is doing. But I think it’s a nice reset for these guys. All these guys will practice next week, but I have a 0% feel that any starter of any significance will play in this game.”

Swift owns a $50 million apartment in New York, which would make the perfect getaway spot for her and the All-Pro tight end, who likely won’t be playing in KC’s season finale with everything already locked up.

It appears Kelce and Swift are taking their relationship to the next level with the latter reportedly deciding to buy a home in Nashville, Tennessee to be closer to Kelce during football season (Nashville is just a 90-minute flight from Kansas City).

Reports also indicate that Kelce went all-out on a new state-of-the-art security system with a 24/7 security team after a break-in at his Leawood, Kansas, home back in October to make Swift feel more at ease when she spends time at his place.
